Overview of the Platform
The Dashboard
Welcome to the Compliance-Pro Dashboard!
This is your home screen from which you can access all of your data privacy information. Before we dive into how you might record and manage your data processing activities, let’s take a look at what you can see on your screen right now.
The Side Menu:
This is the menu that you will be using most of the time. It provides you with access to all of the Primary functions of the portal, from managing your data processing activities, to dealing with Incidents, Access Requests and Managing Risk. The section below will go into this in more detail.
The Top Menu:
This Menu provides you with access to system related activities, such as System Settings and Configuration, Help Text, Quick Menus and more.
The Dashboard:
The dashboard provides you with an overview of key aspects of the system which are as follows:
- Completed Tasks indicator, this provides you with an overview of how many tasks have been completed out of all of the tasks raised. In general terms it helps you gauge your current level of compliance based on the percentage of task you still have outstanding.
- Breach Indicator, provides you with a running total of an breaches that have been identified and lists the number of outstanding breach investigations.
- Quick Access Bar, down the centre of the page, provides access to critical functions within the platform (Breach and Incident Management, Data Subject Requests, DPIA’s and Risk Management)
- Task Summary, lists all the current outstanding actions logged in your Task Management system
